Capital Opera is a
medium-sized book (155mm x 240mm, 152pp), designed and
produced in 2000 for the National Opera of Wellington and
covers its history over the past 25 years. The client did not want to commit
to the extra expense and production time required for a
case-bound book, but still wanted an elegant and substantial
look to the publication. This was achieved by using a heavy
laminated dust jacket, attractively designed by well-known
opera designer Philip Markham. The book was produced within
budget and delivered several weeks before the launch
date.
